Drifting Away
Your body is in my bedroom
But not your heart
It is out exploring for a new adventure
A new, more exciting adventure
I told myself that a person cannot be a home
But then I met you
You became my home
And I never want to leave
But now your heart strives for something else
And I can’t even be mad at you
Because honestly if I were you
I’d want something more exciting too
I guess I just believed your lies that you would never leave me
So go find something that gives you butterflies again
Once you get tired of that as well
I will be here waiting for you
Which sounds sort of miserable and desperate
But once I found my home
I never want to leave it
